Controversy related to promotion on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

A controversy erupted over the film when Kapil Sharma, the host of the comedy show, was accused of refusing to promote ‘The Kashmir Files’ on his show. People on social media accused Kapil Sharma that Kapil was nervous and hence he refused to promote the film. However, after this, a reply was also given by Kapil Sharma. Re-tweeting the tweet, he wrote, “This is not true.”

In a comment on the same tweet, Kapil Sharma was asked whether he would invite Vivek Agnihotri to appear on his show? Although Kapil Sharma did not answer this, Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, ‘No’.

People are divided on social media

People seem to be divided into two factions in social media regarding the film. Some people have told the film to tell the truth, while some people are raising issues like Godhra and Ayodhya on this pretext.

Most of the BJP leaders have described the film as brilliant and appealed to the people to watch it.

Kapil Mishra, who came into the limelight especially due to his fiery speeches during the Delhi riots, has also tweeted on this.

Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani has tweeted. He wrote, “Look, so that this history, stained with the blood of innocent people, is never repeated.”

Sharing a video clip, Amit Malviya has tweeted that people go to the theater and watch the film.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh has also tweeted. He has written that because this film should be seen in maximum numbers, it is being made tax-free.

Film actors have also given their reactions to the film by tweeting. Akshay Kumar wrote, “Hope to see the film soon.”

BJP MP K.J. Alphons has said that the Congress ‘does not understand history, they have a distorted version of it.’
